Overview:
Our Heated Chases are manufactured from the finest materials precision ground & finished. They are methodically wired & tested to provide uniform heat throughout the plate.
We sell three types of heaters, all are made in the USA.
Bed Heaters are used when the press is designed for hot embossing or foil stamping. The heater is located behind the honeycomb. This type of heater is used on platen, clamshell & cylinder presses.
Honeycomb Heaters are used when the press was originally designed for a die cutting press and the customer would like to do hot embossing or foil stamping. When the press operator removes the honeycomb heater from the press, he disconnects the power leads on the platen presses. This is usually done automatically with special connectors. On clamshell and cylinder presses the operator generally disconntects the power with twist lock connections. The honeycomb heater uses toggle hooks to easily mount the die.
Bunter Heaters are used on clamshell and cylinder presses when the press was not designed to do hot embossing and foil stamping. Our removable front plate allows the power connection to stay intact. The press operator simply removes the 3/16 (5mm) front plate to lock the dies.
