Inline Holographic Effects
Cast & Cure is a fast growing technology that creates holographic style decorative finish on a variety of substrates for sheet-fed and web applications
Inline Cast and Cure units are available for all sheet-fed and web printers. The unit mounts at the end of the press and is usually the last process performed on your printing press.
The process utilizes standard printing plates to apply UV Varnishing. The UV Duct Varnish acts just like a UV ink that is applied to a standard lithographic printing plate onto the substrate. This allows for spot or flood holographic effect, depending on the plate used.
After the UV is applied to the substrates, the substrate travels to the next station at which it come in contact with the Cast & Cure Film. Thus, creating an impression of the film onto the substrate where the UV Varnish has been applied. The UV Varnish is dried by a UV source, creating the holographic effect onto the printed sheet. The Cast & Cure Film is rewound automatically, as it is able to re-used multiple times.
The Cast & Cure System is performed at print speed and in litho register.

Hologram Effect is applied to the UV coating before its dried for a stunning holographic effect onto the printed sheet. Cast & Cure film is available in a variety of stock holographic patterns including High Gloss, Matte and various Holographic images.
You are also able to create a proprietary design for authenticity, branding and security applications.
Hologram Films
Films come in many standard patterns and are reusable with customers averaging between 6-10 passes through the press. A sustainable manufacturing process and meets the need for an eco friendly solution.
Manufactured in the USA. We manufactor all parts in house and assemble them right here at our factory. Units are available for all printering press. Size of unit is matched to your printing press.
