The Die Positioning System (DPS) is the most advanced die registration system on the market. The system allows anyone to lockup hot foil stamping or embossing dies onto a honeycomb chase with extremely high precision off-press. The days of long make ready times and bumping dies are gone.

Register dies off-press

The DPS works by using a touch screen as a visual guide on where to place each die on a honeycomb chase, based off of a digital or scanned sheet. A camera moves above the honeycomb work area where the die will be placed. It displays overlay images, one of the digital file and the other provides the live image of the chase. As you move a die under the camera, just watch the screen until the two images match. With the DPS you will cut down your make ready time by 40%-70% depending on the job. The dies are placed in the correct spot the very first time.

Digital Files

With the DPS anyone can lockup jobs off-press using digital files (graphics file used for print). The same digital file is used in pre-press. All major digital files are accepted. You don't even have to wait for a printed sheet. You can have your chase locked up and ready to go.

Thermo Expansion - Board Stretch

The DPS factors in the thermoexpansion of the chase and dies. Simply enter the temperature you will run the press at and the system will calculate the position of your hot stamping dies. You can preset your honeycombs, die material and press temperatures or select them per job. The system has a sleek new design, with improvements to every aspect of the system.

Simplicity

We have made tremendous improvements in our system. The touch screen has the same user friendly interface similar to an IPAD or giant IPHONE. This makes it very versatile, familiar and simple for anyone to learn and operate. The system features crisp, full screen camera images, with a sharp, high resolution quality.
