Honeycomb chases are used for hot foil stamping and embossing applications on a stamping press or clamshell press. Despite their simple appearance; a good quality honeycomb chase is a marvel of manufacturing. Years of research and painstaking engineering procedures were required to develop our Honeycomb Plate Mounting System.

Ideally the honeycomb is loaded onto our DPS where the operator registers the dies from a digital file. The operator then inserts the toggle hooks and locks the dies into position. If the shop does not have a DPS, the operator uses a mylar set-up sheet to register the dies.
